Mission

Journey Church: We exist to make Jesus accessible to anyone.

Production: We remove distractions and amplify the message so people can meet Jesus—on campus and online.

We approach this calling with passion, precision, and purpose. Excellence isn’t for show; it’s for people.

Values in Action

Love God

  • Pray First: We start with a huddle and prayer.

  • Serve with Passion: Energy up. Heart engaged.

  • Lead by Example: Words, body language, and effort matter.

Love People

  • Be a Servant: Every guest is our priority.

  • Walk With, Don’t Just Point: Personally guide people; make introductions.

  • Speak to People, Not About Them: Handle conflict directly and graciously.

Pursue Excellence

  • Honor Time: Be at huddle prepared and on time.

  • Create the Atmosphere: Details that keep the focus on Jesus.

  • Come Prepared: Know your gear, attend Thursday run-throughs, keep spaces clean and safe.

Choose Joy

  • Make It Fun: High energy, grateful spirit.

  • Focus on the Positive: Learn fast, grow forward.

  • Smile While You Serve: Warmth changes the room.

Serving Rhythm & Expectations

  • Thursday Run-Throughs: 7:00–9:30 PM (role-specific notes below).

  • Sundays: Call times vary by role; see “Roles” section.

  • Scheduling: We use Planning Center and schedule 8 weeks out. Accept/decline promptly.

  • Blockouts: Add unavailable dates as soon as you know them.

Midweek & Special Events

We also staff Wednesday night prayer services and special events/conferences throughout the year.

Coverage needs and call times are posted in Planning Center; please keep Blockouts updated and expect the same standards as Sundays (arrival, comms, and safety).

Shadowing

We require role-specific shadowing for everyone—even veterans. The on-ramp is the same (observe → assist → lead), but duration and number of weeks differ by role to ensure readiness for your exact seat on Sunday.

Planning Center Online

All Production Team members should be familiar with how to use Planning Center effectively. This includes reading the service agenda accurately and responding promptly to scheduling requests.

Because Planning Center is a live, working agenda that may be updated at any time—even last minute—we recommend downloading the “Services” Planning Center mobile app to stay informed and up to date at all times.
