WELCOME TO JOURNEY KIDS
We are Journey Kids!
A safe, clean, and fun place for children to grow spiritually and make friends! At Journey Church each Sunday our goal is that our children leave knowing that God loves them, we believe in them, and that church is fun! Families are a big priority around here, so we partner up with parents to help develop and teach their children to be disciples of Jesus, leaders, and world changers.
Your First Visit.
From the moment you walk onto our campus, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way.
Your first stop when you arrive is the first-time check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the gathering, you’ll receive a text message to your phone. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after gathering.
Explorers
Journey Kids desires to make Jesus assessible to anyone and that includes any child. Our Explorers team seeks to provide a buddy for students who need a little extra support, love, and care. Our team is ready have fun with your child in the environment best suited for them! Whether that be in their age equivalent room or in our sensory sensitive Explorers room. We love to meet kids where they are and show them who Jesus is at their level. We ask that parents of children who would benefit from a buddy pre-register their child so we can better plan and provide as many buddies as possible.
Parents, watch this video before registering for Child Dedications.

At Journey Church, we believe that God’s design for family is between one man and one
woman, based on biblical teaching. While we hold to this conviction, we welcome all parents
who desire to commit to raising their child in the ways of the Lord. For same-sex couples, we
offer a private child dedication, which can be arranged during one of our regular services. -
If you prefer not to go on stage, we are happy to arrange a private dedication during one of our

Parents will be asked to respond to two simple vows:
1. “Do you promise to raise your child in the gospel?”
2. “Do you promise to be a godly example for your child?”
You will simply respond with “I do” when prompted.
